Two Killed In CT Home Invasion, Police Say

Police in Connecticut a double homicide during a reported "targeted" home invasion.

The incident took place in East Hartford for a report of shots fired at 87 Graham Road shortly after midnight on Thursday, June 16.

When officers arrived on the scene they located two individuals injured by gunfire, said Deputy Chief Joshua Litwin of the East Hartford Police.

Litwin said that the two were attended to by East Hartford Fire Department paramedics and rushed to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead. 

"Detectives responded to the scene and are currently investigating this incident as a possible targeted home invasion, there does not appear to be any danger to the public," Litwin added.

The lone resident of that address is cooperating with the police.
